Recently I had the pleasure of speaking at MarketingWeekNYC, which featured many accomplished business leaders such as Shelly Lazarus, former Worldwide CEO and now Chairman of Ogilvy & Mather, Alexis Maybank, Founder of Gilt Groupe, and Alice Schroeder, the author of The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life. The event was sponsored by Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Baruch College. It was a great honor to speak in front of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, which in the past featured leaders like NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg and Christine Quinn, NYC Council Speaker.
Below I included the deck I presented as well as a short event description (via www.manhattancc.org)

Great presentation Matthew – thanks for sharing. I still find it amazing how many sites/companies aren’t even getting the basics of inbound marketing right.
Thanks Rory – glad you found the deck useful
Wow, Probably the longest slideshow presentation I read all of the way through… well done. I love the heat map that showed that organic search beats the heck out of PPC. The fact that everything is going (or has already gone) mobile is going to throw a wrench in the plans of a lot of folks still chugging away with trying to get people to come to their “website” with all of the bells and whistles. The simple fact that simplicity and mobility is IN is easily seen in the smallest of things, such as the polularity of flat design. I have long thought about adding PPC for local markets into my agency’s service mix, and this put me over the fence. Shared on Facebook for all to see.
Thanks
Thanks Timothy – appreciate your feedback, glad that you are at the forefront of innvotaion and found the deck useful (yes, it’s kinda long 🙂 so big thanks for going through it) cheers
